The marble threshold
( After the Darkness… )
"'Let me see mine one last time..."
...Before the marble threshold,
my body is cold.
Here there is no noise, no trees.
I don't remember this place.
I'm alone, lost far from home...
The hours, the minutes pass,
but nothing comes.
Not a known face, no connection.
I thought I'd finally see his new paths,
What the books paint so well...
I believed in books, I believed in verses,
But maybe...maybe...
Maybe I was more than bad,
And what man has never sinned ?
If you punish me like this for this,
let me see mine ! One last time…
Hunger, thirst, cravings here do not exist.
Just an icy wind cutting my fingers.
So I move forward so as not to end up here,
Where to go when all is darkness...
More guide…Repentance is useless,
But maybe...maybe...
Maybe I was more than bad,
And what man has never sinned ?
If you punish me like this for this,
let me see mine ! One last time…
I walked all night, an eternity.
To always come back in front of the marbled threshold.
No one came to take me, to judge me.
After death no hidden paradise,
After death, no dreaded hell,
After death, just…darkness.
